Storm report data

Every storm report has the same shape, abridged here to one row per list. Units are in the field names (In inches, Mph, Mi), dates are storm days (YYYY-MM-DD, 12:00–12:00 UTC), and empty is null or [], never a missing key.

Open beta: fields may be added, renamed or restructured while Storm Reports are in beta. Check schemaVersion; changes are announced in the changelog first.

Field	Meaning
billing.charged, billing.reason	false and "no_storm_data" when nothing was recorded within 5 miles: the report is free.
property.parcel.owner	The owner of record from county parcel data: raw as the county wrote it, names as people's names (best effort), type person or organization. null when the parcel has no owner.
damageChance	The chance of roof damage from the weather near the property, from the worst storm day. High: 1.5"+ hail at or within 1 mile, 75 mph+ wind within 1 mile, or a tornado within ½ mile. Medium: 1"+ hail within 1 mile, 1.5"+ within 3 miles, 58 mph+ wind within 1 mile or 75 mph+ within 3, or a tornado within 1 mile. Low: anything else. Weather-based only; an inspection confirms damage.
confidence	How sure the data is that the storm reached the property. High: independent sources agree at or very near it. Medium: one strong source. Low: distant or indirect evidence only.
hail.events	Dates with 0.75"+ hail at the property or within 1 mile, or 1"+ within 3 miles (radar or a ground report), plus the date of loss: the industry's verification-table rule.
wind.events	Dates with 58 mph+ (the NWS severe threshold) within 3 miles or at a station within 10 miles, 50 mph+ within 1 mile, or wind damage or a tornado within 1 mile, plus the date of loss.
stormDays	Every day with anything recorded within 5 miles, newest first, with the plain-English evidence.
dateOfLoss.status	found; nothing_recorded (still gives the nearest storm days before and after); or outside_period. null when no date was given.
documents	Every PDF for this report. Without a date of loss, date_of_loss has available: false, reason: "needs_date_of_loss" and url: null.

Codes are lowercase: distances at_property, within_1_mi, within_3_mi, within_5_mi; ratings low, medium, high; wind sources measured_gust, estimated_gust, nws_damage_survey, noaa_storm_events, station.
