Hail, wind and tornado history for an address in the US or Canada, returned in the same response that orders it. $3 per report, and free when nothing is found: if no storm of any kind was recorded within 5 miles in the last five years, the report is still delivered and nothing is charged.
schemaVersion on every report: it goes up whenever the structure changes, and each
change is announced in the changelog first. A report you already ordered
keeps the data it was ordered with.
| Price | $3 from your balance. $0 when nothing was recorded within 5 miles (billing.reason: "no_storm_data"). |
| Speed | About 2 seconds. No webhooks and no polling: the response is the report. |
| Period | The last five years. Radar hail goes back to October 2020. |
| Coverage | US and Canada. Canada has radar hail and weather stations, but no public archive of storm reports or warnings, and the report says so. |
| Data | Stored when you order and never changed. Reading the report or downloading a PDF a year later shows exactly the same data. |
| PDFs | Five with every order: Hail Verification, Wind Verification, Date of Loss, Weather History and Homeowner Storm Summary, branded like your roof reports. |
What can change on every read: the date of loss, claim number, insured name, notes and the branding of the PDF. They are defaults when you order, and any read or download can pass its own, so one order can be re-issued for a different date of loss without paying again.
